Landscape artists Lucy Hawkins, Georgina King and Jill Davies are exhibiting at the Royal United Hospital Bath, part of Art at the Heart RUH contributing to a healing, creative environment. Art at the Heart RUH aims to provide an arts programme that stimulates healing, well-being and creates an uplifting environment for patients, visitors and staff. Artists Lucy Hawkins, Georgina King and Jill Davies draw inspiration from the Jurassic coastline, southwest landmarks, moorland and ancient woodland. Various terrains are explored through expressive painting, illustrative printmaking, use of earth pigments and mixed media. These responses share the beauty and pleasure of being in nature to interesting juxtapositions and connections with the land.
